I moved down before my husband did for a job that I took. I was going to get settle down first before he moves down to keep the income going. When we fist came by to see the place, everyone (staff) was so friendly and nice. After checking out other places, we decided to put down a deposit. We were advise that we can sign the lease agreements the day we move in as long as we have gas, electric and renters insurance on the place. Sounds simple. We did just that. The day before we were going to move in, I called the office to confirm it. I was told that we couldn??t move in until all lease agreements were sign. There was no way my husband could've driven 4 hours just to sign some paperwork while he was at work. We had the Uhaul; we're out of our old place. You name it. There was no way management wanted to work with us. I asked her why I wasn't notified of this before. She told me that her staff is new. As I re-called it, she was the one that told me it was ok to begin with. I was so frustrated last thing I wanted to do was get into a fight. Finally, I convinced her to fax the lease agreement to my husband, he had to get it notarized and fax back which cost us $80 that was not necessary when he was going to be in town the next day. I was so upset. Management is horrible, worst I've ever had so far. Besides that, rent is due on the 1st with no grace periods. It's either that day or late fees.

The other thing is parking. It sucks! Besides me having to sell one of my car in order to move in, my carport is across the complex from where I live. You have to use your carport at all times or your car may be towed. One night my husband left to work around 12am, which his car was in the carport. The next morning I got a warning sticker on my car saying next time it's going to get tow because I'm suppose to use my carport!!! It's so stupid!!

Well, so far my experience here is fine, but that's because we haven't had any repairs yet. I can't wait to buy a house and move out though.
