Incredibly poor management

Ive lived here for 4 years. The floorplan of the apartment is pretty good, although there is no storage space anywhere.
The previous management staff was excellent, since Trammel Crowe took over everything has gone downhill. Although everyone is quite courteous when you talk to them, the response time is awful. Ive received absorbanent bills from this apartment management staff that were marked urgent and I was told to pay them immediately, when I asked what they were for, no one could tell me. Finally they realized they were eroneously billing me- but still have not corrected the problem, this has been going on for almost 4 months.
Maintenance requests are not processed quickly by the management staff. The actual maintenance people are great, but they dont ever get the message when something is broken. My toilet was broken for a week, and I called every day to get it fixed only to be told that someone would be there that same day. A week later when maintenance finally did arrive, he told me the assignment had just been given to him that day- even he was mad.
The apartments are overpriced for this area, and the rent increases significantly with each new lease term. Overall, the floorplan/community layout is good, the management will frustrate you to no end. In regards to safety, I used to feel very safe here, but recently am a little uncomfrotable walking through here at night- the lighting is bad and many lights are out. There have also been some asaults in the complex. Oh, and the parking is terrible in the evenings.
