Madison Park... Robbery, Burglery, Theft, Drug Deals, Vandalism From: mattisking@aol.com Date posted: 9/18/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   Our first visit to Madison Park apartments was quit pleasant. The landscape was well trimmed and glittered with filtered shade from the tall pine tree's scattered throughout the complex. It appeared to be quiet with the occasional child running to the swimming pool to catch a cool swim. We felt as if this apartment was our match made in heaven and moved in shortly after we viewed the premises. Little did we know... Within the first month of living here we noticed items from our patio missing on a daily basis...after four months on the property our home was robbed, with over $5,000 in stolen items. It is one of the worst feelings in the world to walk into your home and all of your personal belongings are trashed and thrown around...including your deceased fathers ashes. Our beginning experiences here were horrible, yet we still decided to stick out our lease and then move on...that was until this month when our vehicle in our carport was robbed and vandalized, in turn totalling the car. This was pretty much the last straw for our family at Madison Park Apts. I would never recommend this apartment community to anyone...or any property on Lemon Ave. for that matter. Throughout our numerous problems, the management was not helpful at all, never returned our phone calls and took weeks to fix our broken screen from the break in. They assured us the security gate would be repaired, which never happened, there are no surveillance cameras, security patrol or anything to keep the tenants comfortable and at peace. Stay safe, so stay away!
