I lived at sierra heights and was fooled by the looks and the fact that it s in Alta Loma. These apartments are borderline dump. There are rodents living in the walls. The management does not care what you have to say. They act like nothing is going on. There is a guy named Ris*** they have him very well trained he is always neutral. The manager is a fat lady that is too lazy to get up and see if there truly is a serious problem. The freeway is next to the community and the noise is so loud you can t sleep with your window open at night. All the maintenance men don t know what they are doing. They will come over and do a half ass repair. You can t walk at night without pepper spray because they let people have very large dogs, I have seen people with up to 4 large dogs in their apartment. If you look in www.meganslaw.ca.gov you will find some rapist living in apt 911 I have seen him around I think he lives with his mommy. My sister has a friend that used to live there and he got jumped and his wallet stolen while getting the mail. I really don t recommend this community or any of the others that are around that area. One advice I can give you is to always shop around, and don t move in to anyplace that is more than a 5 years old. There are a lot of new places around that offer lots of things for the same price or even cheaper. Before moving in and signing anything go back to the place at night and talk to some of the people there see what they have to say. Once you are in a lease you are pretty much bound and there is very little help. Lawyers are very expensive. So just have the guts to protect your family and ask the neighbors how they are doing. Don t get suckered into seeing a model apartment I have heard horror stories about this as well. Always view the actual apt. don t fall in love with the decoration.
