5/21/03 - I am the same person who wrote the review right before I moved in. I have lived there for almost a month now and I have to say I still love it there. I feel bad for the person who is unhappy. I guess your happiness there depends on where you are in the complex, that person must be near the side that is right by the police station. My apartment is on the opposite side, so I never hear sirens, however my friends apartment is on the police station side and I never hear them when I am there either. I think there is a rule about them pulling out of there blaring their sirens, they are not allowed to do that. Anyway,I mentioned the fireworks before and you can see them as long as you walk to the back end of the complex, also they never go on past 10:00p.m. which is compliant with the noise ordinance for the area. It is too bad that the other person isnt happy with the complex, I hardly ever hear my neihbors at all, and I have met most of the people that live around me, they are really nice. There is one couple my husband and I have started a friendship with. Of course there is bound to be skanky people in any complex you move to, but the majority are nice upstanding people, which is very hard to find. I think what it all boils down to is, it is an apartment not a private home with your own backyard, there are going to be other people in the pool and the jacuzzi, also above, below and to the sides of you it is all shared.
