Let me see, the apartments are expensive and the management is not very good, but it is a great place to live'

It seems you lived here recently, did you see the mess we had for a month when the porter quit because he could not get along with the manager and they did not hire anyone for a month' The new guy came in like gangbusters, I even saw him sweeping one night at 10:30, then it petered out and now you can't even see him. The common area is a mess, dog owners let their dogs do their needs in the common ground, you see dog urine and excrement in the common area every morning and you don't even see the shadow of the new porter, the laundry room is filthy and you can never count with it opening on time. The timers for the lights in the common area have not been reset so for one hour every night you are in total darkness, you never see the manager walking around to check on the property (I work out of the apartment and sit by the sliding door most of the day). When you go to the office most often you see the sign "we will be back at xx: xx time" guess what xx: xx time was one hour ago and no one is still here. We have a problem with an unbearable stench of wet cigarettes in our kitchen at night and the only thing the maintenance manager did about it was give us a bottle of odorizer and the manager told us that the only thing he could do about it is let us move to another apartment. When I asked the maintenance man for another bottle of odorizer he told me he did not have any more because the manager is not buying them again because they are too expensive. I can go on and on and on like the Energizer bunny, but I think you get the idea, this place is nice, but the management stinks, they simply do not care about tenant service. I have lived in other places and have relatives that live in apartment complexes, I agree with you, there are places out there that are much worse, but there are also a lot of places that are much better.

Needless to say we are moving, the place is quite expensive, but nice, if the manager cared only 50% of what he should it would be worth it, but the management here gets a big F when it comes to tenant care, all other reviews are pretty much on the money. I should also add that maybe this is not entirely the manager's fault, he may be just a puppet of Stratus Real State, the management company that runs the place, I sent a letter to the agent that oversees this property over a week ago and she never bothered responding.

Now do you really want to know how I feel about Avanti's management' LOL
