The management at the Avanti Apartments are liars. Tamantha Miller and her associate Connie lure you into an apartment and make fasle promises before you move in that the condition will change and the apartment will be cleaned. However, when I actually moved in, the carpets were not even shampooed and had pink, yellow, blue, and red stains all over. I went to management and we wrote in my walk through sheet that I did not dirty carpets and they wouldn't charge me when I move out. THEY LIED!!!!!!
I moved out this month and they are trying to charge me $850 beyond my $650 deposit to replace a carpet I didnt even spill crumbs on. It is my belief that they say this to several tenants and the ones they actually scare they get money from and then they don't clean the carpets and do the same thing to the next tenant. Also, when I moved out and got the itemized move out sheet from them it said I owed them nothing but all of a sudden 2 weeks later they decide oh she owes us $850' They are manipulating and I promise to all who read this that I shall report them to the BBB, the WA State Tenants Union, and all 17 apartment rating and online apartment finder sites of their misconduct. I don't want this happening to any one else and it needs to stop here. I beg any one who has just moved in or intends to move in (which i strongly dissuade you from doing) to get in wriitng on your lease any conversation you may have with these two women so you can have proof to cover your back when they take advantage of you--because they will at some point!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I solicit feedback and would love to hear from others who have had similiar bad experiences with the two landlords.
