I have lived here for over 5 years. There are pros & cons to this place. The walls are PAPER thin, there is NO insulation in this building whats so ever. If you live upstairs, your down stairs neighbors will hear every little footstep you make. If you live down stairs, you're going to have to deal with the noise. There is a horrible echo inside the complex so if your bedroom faces the inside of the complex, you hear EVERYTHING going on outside. The water is CONSTANTLY being shut off for repair. I work during the day so it doesnt really affect me, but I know some neighbors are really upset about it. Rent is rather high in my opinion. You are mostly paying for the Looks of the place more than anything else.
They recently started making everyone pay for the trash & water and we were orginally told it would be calculated by each apartments water use. BUT someone who lives here contacted the utility agency & found it that there is no way to determine which apartmemnt is using how much water. This wouldnt be the first time the management has lied to us though, so Im not surprised. It's very unfair though when you have one person living in one apartment and 5 guys living in another. Obviously the water usage will greatly differ. But everyone has to pay the same. NOT FAIR.
We havent had many break ins so that's a plus. It is a rather safe complex. So if safety is an issue for you, then this place is great. But overall, there isnt many amenities for what you're paying. They do have gardeners who come in & keep the grounds up, but there is a lot of cosmetic repair work that is always being done.
