I have lived here for about 2 years..

i lived here through the recent fires which about 3 buildings plus the office burnt down..

The staff was very nice and helpful throught this awful disaster! the only bad thing I would say is the parking is a nightmare! & I recently called to see how much they were renting 1 bedrooms for & I must say with all the damage to the property & the up coming construction it is NOT worth the $1575!!! when 2 years ago before half the complex burned down a 2 bedroom rented for $1875!! the place is ok..

but not worth the insane price that they are now charging to try to make up for all the money they have lost..

so i would not recommend this apartment complex while it is under construction

They will learn the hard way that they are overpricing the market. We paid $1540 for the one-bedroom in 2007, and it was a rip-off then. People can't afford it, anymore. The sooner they realize that, the happier and more prosperous all involved will be.

Are you sure that is The Cascades? They gave us all $300 off the rent for the entire year of 2009 during construction. I am in a 1 bedroom and I am paying $1215 per month.

I also live in the complex in a 2 bedroom. Ya they gave us $300 off a month because of the fire. My CONTRACTUAL rent is STILL $1875!! Don't be blind, these are not luxury apartments in the slightest. You can find luxury apartment in Irvine and Santa Ana that have Marble countertops, tile in the bathrooms, nice carpeting, brand new light fixtures and new faucets. Don't kid yourself, this place is a RIP OFF. I am on my way out...
