This is in response to what appears to be a fake "Good Review" of the Cascades.

All I have to say is come check the place out and ask yourself, do these appear to be Luxury Apartments' The only thing luxury is the monthly rent and the location in the back of the complex.

I am sure you will find that you can find that this place is no different than an apartment for $500 less in rent.

I have lived here for two years in one of the best locations in the property.

Let me just share some of the negative things about the Cascades:
1.

Rent is pretty much a mortgage payment.

2.

Luxury includes granite countertops, tile bathrooms and high end appliances.

None to be seen here.
3.

Infestation of Earwigs, take a look at what you will kill daily in your apartment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earwig Did I mention I found some inside my refrigerator'
4.

25 days of the month there are no "poop bags" for your pet.

The amount of crap on the grass in the back is gross (from people who don't pick up their poop do to lack of bags) You cannot walk on the grass withoug stepping in poop.
5.

Maintinence will not replace broken parts.

Ex, bad hinge in the bathroom, they came in and BENT the old one so it appeared to be fixed.

I bought one myself.
6.

The trash train comes banging by at 7am every Sunday morning.

Maintinence picks up all the metal trash bins behind a truck, like a train, and brings them to the big dumpster.

Luxury weekends at it's finest.
7.

Check out the 90's cabinets which you will find in 80% of all apartments, this is luxury'
8.

If you have your friends come visit the complex in the evening, they get to pass the ghetto lights on the palm trees in the front of the gates.

1/3 of the lights still work.

But can maintinence just unplug them' Nope must be too difficult.

Can't management just pay for new ones sine the rent is so rediculously high' Apparently not.
9.

Burnt out lights on your front door will takes WEEKS to be replaced.

Scary for my girlfriend when she came home at night.

The place is very dark at night.
10.

Since the fire there is still no large pool or gym.

11.

If you live in the front of the complex you get the lovely sounds of the 91 freeway.

12.

They made an attempt to make the sign smaller, but take a look at the sign on the front gate as you enter the complex.

It basically says that if you live in this complex you will be exposed to toxic exhaust which comes from the traffic on the 91.

13.

Look at the lighting in the apartments.

Very 80's.

Are these luxury apartments or luxury prices'' Saris Regis management is only interested in your money.

http://www.sares-regis.com/page.cfm You can pay the same for a condo mortgage payment.

There is one false report that I will clarify.

I have NEVER seen a rat in this complex.

The earwig infestation is sick enough.

Go check it out for yourselves.

I agree with everything you said but I lived there for 3 years and i personally and many mouse and a california king snake coiled inside my house and they still dont know how it got there i have picts of the dead snake to prove it but you are right on the money with everything else. And managers of the complex stop trying to leave these wonderful reviews you and i both know it, its just so obvious to everybody.

Thank you very much for this review. It definitely reads as honest from personal experience. As another fellow apartment person unhappy with their current location, best of luck with future property searches.

ABout 90% of the reviews i read on apartmentratings.com are negative. Where are responsible tenants to live? It seems safer to just rent a house.
