La Ramada is a pretty decent and inexpensive place to live. The location isn't great, and the buildings are styled out of the 60's (or earlier), but those are the biggest drawbacks (except for the lack of a dishwasher, which I didn't notice until I moved in and went to wash my first load). The apartment otherwise has good amenities (central air and heat, downstairs has a nice sized fenced patio and grass area (great for dogs)). They also have several apartment layouts to choose from.

I have some problem with a noisy upstairs neighbor whose constantly unattended kid loves to throw things in my yard, but otherwise the noise level is pretty low - not too many kids or college students.

Overall, a good value with no major problems - I'm considering staying another year and moving into a 2-bedroom townhouse.
