Do not give these people your money. Yes there is a housing shortage and finding an apartment can be difficult, but for your sake, your family's sake, do not move here!
I have lived here for 1.5 years and the list of problems can be written in a paperback novel.
For starters, we moved in and the carpet was filthy, the geniuses decided to paint and put up a lovely cottage cheese ceiling and forgot to clean up and all the dust went directly into the carpets. Our brand new vacuum didn't stand a chance.
Secondly, our dishwasher didn't work!
Third, the water pressure is horrible!
fourth, our roof leaks in the same exact spot and we have called in 9 times, yes nine times, to have it fixed and the shmucks decide to just paint over the brown water spots on the ceiling.
Everytime, they come up with some sort of excuse about why it's not fixed. If you ever need to hire someone to make excuses for your business these are the people!
The list goes on and on, termites, ants, broken laundry rooms, horrible management staff, which by the way there has been 3 managers since I've been here. Hmm what else, oh yes of course, there are rats in the walls, yes rats.
Oh yeah, I forgot, the maintenance people don't know how to fix anything, you ask them to fix the toilet instead they fix showerhead, you ask them to fix the towel rack, they remove it entirely. They have broken our furniture, which of course they won't admit, and they leave mud prints on our carpets.
Oh and if you ask them to clean the carpet and the mess they've made, the request takes 3 weeks.
Back to the roof, with all of the rain water that comes through our ceiling, in the same EXACT spot everytime, the water has soaked into the carpets and has created a pleasant moldy, rotten smell.
It has been One month and they have yet to remedy the mold from the carpet.
PLEASE For the sake of your mental health, please do not live here. Just search a little harder and you will find a complex that actually knows what it's like to run an apartment complex.
Also, Do not rent from any apartment managed by the Lyon Propery Management group. Check VERY carefully the next apartment complex you choose to live in.
I have been asked about this place five times, and five times I've told them the truth about this God forsaken place. Just turn around and never look back!

If you hate the place so badly why have you lived there for over a year and a half. Most apartment complexes allow a lease maximum of 12 months so you must have renewed your lease at least one time. Your misery is your fault. You must enjoy having something to complain about or you would have moved out at your earliest opportunity. Sounds like a case of sour grapes to me.
