This place is such low quality for the price. Cheap faucets that break a few months after they put them in, cheap counter tops. Floors in the kitchen that are installed without the floor molding that should have been placed back but wasn't. This makes the kitchen floor curve at the ends and dirt and whatever else goes into it. Probably lazy contracting, paint spilled on concrete outside. I have stayed here for two years. Only because they did not raise my rent the second year. The only plus side of the apartment is the sound. I have never heard my neighbors though the walls or floor. If you do live here, be advised that the AC is on top of the building, is very old and will run and run and run all day if it is hot. The sound from the Unit is very noisy. It rumbles and vibrates every time, anyone turns there AC on. It's not a energy saving device by any means and you will know this when you get your electric bill. It's either pay the electric or roast. You kinda of get used to it after a while and although it does work good but the sound can be really annoying if you concentrate on it. People here tend to really slam their doors for some reason. This goes on all day and night, I think it's because the doors have 90 layers of paint on them and the stick, even after two years of living here. Some neighbors are just clueless when it comes to living in apartment. Nobody sweeps there entrance. They all think the the magic sweeper is going to come around and sweep.(aka Juan) Patio and entry ways are dirty and stained, paint was spilled on to the entry when I moved in and was not cleaned up. Just wiped up so now there is a permanent stain. The train, which is on about 100 yards from the apartment lets you know that it is coming by every 30 minutes at all hours of night. Again, you get used to it and if you get a apartment in the back near the golf course you can barely hear it at night.

The second year of living here has seen a dramatic rise of questionable tenants. They lowered the price of these units. It seems that they are renting to whoever and whomever walks through the doors. The maintenance staff is not really a staff. Usually staff means that you can accomplish something. These guys could not even fix a simple water faucet without multiple trips. Took them 5 visits to properly fix the heater. This is after a outside contractor showed up, without my prior knowledge around 9PM on a Sunday night to fix the heater. You don't know what they are going to do because they don't leave notes when they are there. Then when they finally do fix something, when they see you they ask how it is doing like they want to be congratulated for finally fixing it. The leasing office is a joke. Every month, there is new people working there. I would imagine that this is a training office for Lyon and after they train here at this non important complex they are sent to nicer places. You need to give 60 days notice to move out for some reason, probably to make it difficult to move. The fitness room is not bad if you really don't mind one machine. There is like one good machine in there but usually some person brings her kids in there as a play room while she casually walks on the treadmill watching American Idol at full volume. They run all over the place, get in your way and stare at you until you have to leave. Do not bother using it, 24 hour fitness is right around the corner and you don't have to deal with people who pretend to work out. There are kids who like to skateboard in the carport area and do not move if you are driving up, it's like they expect you to go around them. The cement and parking areas are dirty and stained. Bugs, gnats all over the place. Gnats in your apartment constantly. I haven't opened my windows, just using air for two months now and I always have gnats in my apartment. I don't know where they are coming from. Kids, yelling and screaming in apartment stairways. Overall, just becoming a trashy place to live.

I really don't know why I stayed for two years, probably being lazy not wanting to move because I can afford better. I am moving to a better place in Yorba Linda next month. Oh, this is the best. About a year ago they sent a letter stating that these apartments are going to be turned into condos. I can't imagine anyone would want to buy a this condo style apartment here unless they bulldozed the whole block and got rid of the white trash that has moved in. You would have to be on medication to purchase these as condos. They have no upside at all. This is really just a plain generic apartment with no ventilation that has seen hundreds of tenants since the 70's and it always has a musty smell to it.

lol.... people need to get a life, after reading alot of these posts I'm starting to feel bad for the staff in the office, I lived there for like 2 years, any problem I had Jose took care of it. My neighbors were nice to. I sounds like you would complain about anything.

Everything in the above post is true and that is the point of a review. You sound like you love trashy living conditions.
