Decent Apartment w/ revolving managers From: 0phelia Date posted: 9/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   The reviews should vary as this apartment complex does not keep one manager for a very long time, 6 months at most. The last manager Alma was congenial and was willing to take care of problems. However, the company moved her to a nicer area. I think we've had a couple of different managers the last several months who do a bit a power tripping - not even introducing themselves yet sending out notices about how things will be changed, threatening to evict people because they had plants and personal belongings on their balconies' After our last manager left, tenants are more rowdy and inconsiderate, blasting their stereos when they pull in the carports, something the last manager had almost eradicated, or sometimes hanging out by the carports late at night. It is probably not an issue to other tenants but I am unfortunately located by a self serve car wash and a mcdonalds so I hear people blasting their stereos while washing their cars at ridiculous hours and fat kids screaming in their little mcdonalds play pen. Other than those things however, this apartment complex is pretty decent. There is assigned parking so parking is not an issue. It is occasionally noisy but no party people in this complex - mostly little infants are what makes up most of the noise. The overall appearance of the community is upkept and clean. Some tenants look a bit trashy, but this is only Anaheim so I can't judge. I had a little issue with the water not getting hot enough, and the previous manager was kind enough to take $25 off my rent because they could not find the problem to it. The problem has been long fixed but since we changed managers I've kept that amount to be paid every month. Most neighbors seem pretty friendly also. The manager at this property now seems less congenial and more strict, but that will probably be a good thing - keep the trashy neighbors out and upkeep the property. Overall this apartment has its flaws but it's pretty decent.
