I use to live in Windrose and I miss it a lot. The upstairs are vaulted ceiling in all rooms, not just living room so it looks big. We had the pool view which was awesome. I think it is the best deal you can find in anaheim. You get a port garage and a private garage included in rent. Both have extra storage spaces. The landscape is beautifully kept and never had any incidence with the maintenance. They get back to you in 24 hours. The gyn is small, but its a small complex. Al ot of time, nobody is using it at all. The pool could get crowded on the weekends, but they are cleaned every week. The whirlpool always works. The entrance to your unit are all private, no sharing a hallway or walk way. It is infront of Dollar tree where i tell my visitors to park their car. Target is walking distance, so is Dennis, A&W, and a mexican restaurant next to it. The neighbors are great, they do a good screening, I guess. I did a lot of grilling in the patio during summer and when it gets hot, WOW, you know the air works. Its amazingly cheap electric bill too ($40 during winter and $80 during summer). I gave birth at Anaheim memorial hospital which is very close and the complex was really great raising a toddler. I dont know much about the school system there. There are cheaper apts, but not that good esp Lincoln Ave where its actually apts. The complex does have an upscale coastal feel to it, its just that its in Anaheim. But its close to everything. FReeway 5, walmart, Ross, Compusa, Savon, one exit is Disney Way. This kind of apt could be around $1700 in costa mesa or even more. So I say it was a good deal.
