Why Have I Been Living Here So Long'

The place is so/so...they handeled a fire in a unit VERY POORLY and didn't fix the tenents' doors for a week (the doors in the unit's apartments were kicked down by the fire department). The garbage in the dumpster is often over flowing and sometimes homeless people are digging through it (so much for the "saftey" gate surrounding the complex). If you live here, I recomend NOT living near the street, it's VERY noisy. Kids run around unattended, so you really have to be careful in the parking lot. Parking is a mess and YOU CAN'T HAVE GUESTS PARK IN THE PARKING LOT!!! What's up with that'''' They charge for water, garbage (read above), and sewer, so you're not getting any additional benefits other than a washer/dryer in unit. Management changes A LOT! Does that say anything to you' They have "community" events all of the time, but it seems fake because the staff is kinda on the fake side. The only REALLY good thing I can say is that it is conviently located to a lot of resturants and accross the street from a Bel Air and Winco. And THANKFULLY I haven't had a lot of mantainance issues. The walls in this place are PAPER THIN and you can hear the conversations of people passing by...so if you're nosey, that's a nice feature. The cops have been out a lot lately for domestic disturbences, so the area is going down-hill a little. I don't always feel safe and there have been people shot in the near-by park.
