we leave in one of the best road in the Arbors and we love it.
we just bought a house so we will be moving next month, but we will miss the peace and privacy. the houses (and not appartment) are really far from each other (not like these tracks homes). You can rent houses or duplex.
it is true that not all the community is nice and quiet. Some areas are not very nice and the people who leave there are not very caring... they even seem a little rough.
Try to have your house in a street with only houses... makes a BIG difference.
the people that work there are very polite and the houseclub is very well clean.
Everytime we need an handyman we take an appointment and everytime he comes during the hours they telling us he will come...
i really recommend this place... much better that renting from any privat personn, but like i said before the location of the house you will leave in makes a big difference, so make sure you look around before.
(the first time they showed us a house it was just in front of a playground and i refused to rent it, because i knew teens would love to hangout there... and bingo they did... i am so happy we were patient and rented another perfect location house....
by the way we are renting a 1570 sq feet house (3 bedroom and very roomy livingroom and kitchen) (see the model house on their website) for $1460 (month to month).

OMG! I agree with you 100% and it isn't just those things but many, many more. I know someone that had mold all over their home and it made their baby sick but they at first didn't do anything about it until they got legal help. Also now there is going to be tar roofing with TOXIC FUMES we will be forced to smell and become ill from (scheduled to start in Spring 2009 and go on a entire YEAR. If you want to discuss these and other issue with the Arbors you should go to (and invite any & everyone) to a public meeting regarding the toxic fumes and issue & report presentation will be made to community members at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, at the Center High School theater room, 3111 Center Court Lane in Antelope.
