I have lived at the Legacy for four years now. I agree with the last poster. Kyra is very unprofessional and always seems bothered when you come into the office to ask a question or to turn in rent. I also very much agree that she is constantly on the phone or playing on the computer when you come into the office or gone on long lunches. I don't know how many times I rushed home before 6pm to see her before the office closed only to see the office locked up 30 minutes early and the office staff gone for the day. This happened several times a week. Again I have to agree that there was rarely anyone in the office during the day and the only way I could make contact with office staff was to take time off from work to see them during business hours. When Kyra is in the office you have to wait sometimes up to 20 minutes for her to get off the phone or the computer to come out and help you. She makes it clear by the her priorities are not the renters or their concerns. When she finally gets done with the computer or phone she often comes out and ask, "what do you want" and sighs like she is annoyed. I also have problem with the mail that was left the main office getting stolen. When I first moved to the Legacy aptments office staff would keep the mail behind the desk and would check your ID before the gave out mail. But the more time Kyra spends on the computer and phone the less effecient the office was. Lately Kyra and her staff just motions for you to go back behind the desk and get your own mail while they talk on the phone or use the computer. They don't check or confirm the mail goes to the right person. Huge set up for theft. I have also heard Kyra berate her own staff a few times which I felt was rude and unproffesional in residents. She doesn't appear to like to be asked questions or be disturbed while she is in her office. As the pool it was dirty all summer. They had the pool guy coming out only once a week during the summer and the water was contantly brown and cloudy. I complained once and Kyra rudely told me that they were only required to have the pool cleaner out once a week. This was such a huge health and safety issue that I quite using the pool. The spa NEVER worked and was constantly yellow/brown with foam. Again complaints got no response from office staff and I have seriously considered reporting the Apartment to the health department. I am surprized someone didn't get serious ill last summer from the pool.
It was grimy water and office staff didn't want to hear compliants and didn't address the issue. Again I have been her 4 years and won't renew my lease. Things have really gone downhill with Kyra in charge and her attitude and focus on her appearance seem to be her primary focus. The last apartment manager was ALOT better. Don't move here thing are not great and they are way to expensive for what you get.
