I have lived at the Legacy for 2 years now and it has been not bad at all. I am not sure as to why some folks have had problems with the staff- I have never had an issue with any of the managers. They have been professional, courteous, and very helpful. Has nothing to do with brownnosing the staff or anything either- if you are a good tenant with a good attitude, then no problems.

There are a lot of positives- good location near all that you need, fairly quiet, lots of parking, functional garage areas, pool, gym, and a field for the kids to play ball on. But here are a a couple things over the last 2 years that have stuck out as big negatives for me:

The grounds need some work; the garages have been under "refrubeshment" for almost a year. Additionally, the pool area is in needing of some TLC and the mailbox area is hurting for some help as well. The landscaping is good and the grounds are about an 8 out of 10.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE about the dumpster divers raiding the dumpsters at all hours- it is TERRIBLE. The security that is supposed to be there at the complex is lacking, I only see them drive through once a month if that. My apt is near one of the dumpsters and it concerns me as I have kids.

One big positive I will mention: Maintenance is good and responsive, mostly. There was an issue with my refridgerator failing and the lack of support on a weekend. The managment staff did go above and beyond offering up an empty apt for me to use to keep my food cold until a relacement could be delivered by the maint. staff. That following Monday morning, a NEW refridgerator was delivered and was put into place. Offer was made to pay for any spoiled food, which there wasnt. Top class support!!

The apt has held up very well for the last 2 years and I am very pleased. For starting out, not a bad place, but there are some areas that do need some work. If I were to do it over, I would probably make this the first place to live after my divorce- no regrets, just time to move on.
