SunsetRidge is a great place to live and I have been here for the last 4 years.Management is great and it has been a 360 since the new management was hired!Now this community may not be for everyone.I live in a 2x2 and before that a 1x1 and they are spacious.Now as for gun fire and gates being broken.Management cannot be held accountable for what happens outside the property plus unfortunately there are no guarntees for security.Ive worked for Sacramento County Police for 10 years and things can happen anywhere you go whether you live in an house or an apartment and remember management isnt security and it is not the managers place to babysit or make you feel secure that is why its gated.Ive seen the gate not closing due to electric outage due to rain,last year there was rooting tree issues and it took time to get that fixed.Yes I have seen homeless people onsite,peoples crs may have been broken into but it happens.Would it make any difference if it happened while you were working,at school or visitng friends and family'Like me you cant control what happens and for the sad reviews like I said earlier this property isnt for you.But be honest and speak about the positive like the maintenance and manager who goes out her way to make everyone happy.She has been a blessing and I know for a fact everyone can say so.Yes do speak on the unfortunate incidents but thats more of an occurance that can happen anywhere!Also the prices are very competitive compared to all the others in ANtelope.Plus what also what the previous reviewer said about section 8 the manager told me that dont accept it becuase they dont need to and if you paid attention about 95% of the properties here in Antelope are section 8 housing and also if you ran the Megans Law there are molesters who are living on those properties.

I wrote one of the previous reviews, not about Section 8. But I think that there wasn't anything overstated or left out. I can't say nice things about the previous manager, so as my mama raised me, I will just leave that alone. To say I want babysitting where all I wanted is the gates fixed(which they were), restricted entry, and more proactive measures from management, well that is just common sense. I am still glad to be outta there. You were right, the place wasn't for me, I actually get sleep now.
