I lived in these apartments during the late 90's through 2002. I realize that was four years ago, but the complex has changed little since. I pass by it each weekday on my way to work, unlike other apartment complexes, there are no banners indicating the apartments being renovated.

These are decent apartments with decent rents, but that is all subjective to whomever has to live and pay there and pay the rent. First the bad stuff: The apartments are old, at least 35 years based on the look of the buildings exteriors and original eqiupment, such as stoves, dishwashers, a/c units, windows and doors. They apartments have a solid feel, and appear to be built well, but there are newer apartments across the street and on the other side of the freeway. You might get lucky and rent a newly renovated unit, as there were a few fires within the last 5 years that caused major damage, but overall, the complex needs a major upgrade inside and out. The overall area is not a good one however, and is considered the low-income, bad part of town.

The good part: You have easy freeway access, and you are located next to the major shopping area for Pittsburg and part of Antioch with various stores such as Target, Best Buy, Macy's, and a 24 Hour Fitness gym. There is a pool as with any apartment complex in the area along with a tennis court (although it was not very well kept in the past). Each unit has a/c, dishwasher and a ceiling fan in the dinning area.

I would take these apartments under consideration, but seriously look elsewhere if you can afford to. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
