this is one of the nastiest places i ever lived the staff is ghetto and un prefesional. the tenants are just as bad the rudest people i ever lived next too. and i have lived in a lot of bad ereas. people there dont know how to keep an eye on their own kids. kids play out in front of your appartment all hours of the night.throwing things at your car. and as far as the staff goes. well to be perfectly honest if you want to be treated well, you gotta be black.

I used to live in Oakwood Village back in 2006, and it was bad then. My suggestion, use common sense when looking for apartments in general. If the average, one bedroom apartment in the East Bay is about, oh, I don't know, $1,200, and a complex on the WORST STREET IN THE CITY is offering $800-$950, then it probably isn't going to be safe. I mean, common sense people. You should research these things. Sycamore is the worst street in Antioch, people get shot there almost every day! The owners of Oakwood Village haven't change the code to the gate in YEARS! Lemme guess, it's still pound(#)-3-6-9-9...? Lol, yup, that was the code when I was 15 and a friend of mine lived there, and it was the same when I was 19 and I lived with my ex in apartment 81 back in 2006! It's a low income area, therefore, there's going to be more crime in general. If you want to live some place better and not have to leave Antioch, plenty of people have lost their houses off of Hillcrest and they're being rented out for cheap, try that. Have a good day!
