I would like to inform everyone that Summerwood is under new management as of Jauary 2007. They are currently upgrading all upcoming units with all new flooring, new appliances, light fixtures, faucets, and door handles. Since JBM has taken over here in january of '06 we have turned over half of the property. They have weeded out any and all of the bad element people are talking about in other reviews. They are also in the process of repairing and "dolling up" the exterior of the property with bark throughout dirt areas and new lamp posts and they just re-surfaced the parking lot late last year. Anyone interested in renting an apartment please call the main office at (925)754-5455 and speak with Michael he is the manager(he's younger but he gets things done and if it is going to take some time he will let you know that). The office hours are M-F 9am-5pm.
