So, our heater pretty much never worked; when we moved in we were promised new blinds (that was in may 2007) we're moving out in a month and still have the same crappy, dirty, broken blinds; many of the electrical outlets don't work (you plug something in and it falls right out). When ever things went wrong it took the landlord forever to take care of it... unless of course it was something that would affect them (i.e. when the toilet broke and flooded the bathroom and hallway). The main landlord isn't a bad guy, just don't count on him ever taking care of any maintenance issues. When we did our walk through our roommate was still living here, so there was no cleaning done or anything... I just hope we get our full deposit back!
If it's between here or something Humboldt Property owns, I'd say live here.... but be cautious about it.
