The "Maintenance Service Promise" is a fraud. My A/C went out and the problem wasn't fixed for a week. The maintenance promise says that if the problem isn't fixed in 48 hours, you will receive free rent credit from the time the work order was promised, until the repair is made. We endured 100 degree weather at times in our apartment that week. The maintenence people tried several different things until they finally fixed the problem- a week later. When I asked about free rent credit for the 7 days that I went without A/C, the management (Nicole) just gave me excuses for why it took so long to fix. She didn't seem very happy that I mentioned the "Maintenance Service Promise". Then I got a call from the manager (Dawn). She said that the promise only meant that they would come and look at the problem within 48 hours. It didn't mean that it would actually be fixed within 48 hours, like the "Maintenance Service Promise" plainly states. She also made excuses that were untrue and invalid, stating that the repair order was during the weekend. The date was from May 19th-May 26th. There were 5 days before the weekend came. She said that she didn't think I deserved the 7 days of free rent credit, but was going to be nice and give me 2 days of rent credit. The 2 day credit that they are offering won't even cover the bill for A/C that they wanted us to run 24/7 while it was being worked on. The "Maintenance Service Promise" very misleading unless the management interpreted it wrong. And the management people only have excuses rather than taking full responsibility and fulfilling the maintenance service promise. This isn't the first time that I've had a problem of this sort. All I ask is that you fulfill the promises that you clearly put in print. The motto "Making Life Easier" is a joke.
