I lived here for 9 months and for the most part it was okay.

The maintenance people are really great.

However when the grounds people used the blowers to clean the sidewalks, dirt and leaves were blown all over the parked cars.

It was very difficult to keep my clean.

I received a notice that my car was about to be towed due to: 1) parked in the
wrong space 2) It appeared inoperable.

My car was parked in the correct assigned space for my apartment and the office staff confirmed this.

The blonde lady in the office told me and I quote, You car is DIRTY so I thought it was inoperable.

I paid $40 two days prior to this to have my car detailed.

When I asked if I would have been called before my car was towed she stated, "Well no, that's not my job." I moved to another apartment complex with a garage.

I would never live in Edgewater again.

I caught one of the -------- they hire to do their gardening DELIBERATELY blowing dirt and dust into my car a few years ago. I had just had the car cleaned and had come home for lunch. The guy was holding the blower and pointing it directly INTO my car, and when I confronted him he all of a sudden could "no speaka English". I had similar problems trying to complain to management and the garden company - they wouldn't cooperate or admit to any wrongdoing on the part of Edgewater or the gardening company. I too moved into a HOUSE with a garage for $200/month LESS than what I was paying there. When I went walking through a few months ago the complex looked like a tornado had hit it, it was HIDEOUS. The stream bed was dry (still is), trees were snapped in two and untended, and there were leaves everywhere. They have a silly rule of not cleaning in the winter if it rains, so as a result the leaves can get pretty deep and I hope you like wading through wet leaves because they will NOT clean them up! Edgewater is a no go in my book. I'm so glad I moved and will NEVER live there again. I had the same problem with the note on the car too, they said my tags had expired so I removed the smog placard number thing from my back window and took it to them to explain to them that that was a temporary registration. I'm so glad I left, you have no idea, don't even bother to move in you're doomed to disappointment!!
