I don't know about the other reviews, mine isn't quite as aggressive. There are too many ridiculous rules and the badges residents must wear to swim is too extreme. I see the point of not wanting too many people in the pools at one time and not wanting overcrowding due to guests, but the badges (')!!. I have children so I like the ball court but nobody can ride their bikes or skates or scooters and that is awful for all of them. Although there are places for the kids to play, one cannot put up a volleyball net in the soccer park area and many people are not kid friendly driving through too fast, and there are several cats wandering around (gross!!). The parking is difficult sometimes but not moreso than any other apt complex. The noise is minimal, the dairy is kind of gross sometimes but we researched it before we moved in and accepted it, the onsite manager is too aggressive and disrespectful using condescending words and profanity and should be replaced for this community to realxe and not be angry or looking over their shoulder when they go outside. Sometimes the gate is an inconvenience, if the phone is busy or there's a line, but they tell you that you have to have a landline phone to open the gate anyway. I don't see where it is so dirty either, but you can tell from the workmanship where they cut corners to use the marble and granite, the pergot wood floors were not laid properly, the concrete under the tile is cracking, the carpet is cheap and snags too easily, the cabinetry is not flush with the countertops and/or walls, the dry wall on the walls is so thin and the paint is not satin or glossy finish so they are difficult to clean and there is no ceiling fan in the dining room where there is no air flow from the oven and stove and washer/dryer units. Overall they are not awful, but the location is perfect for having school age children, and they are easy to find and the tenants are friendly without being nosy or obtrusive. I think that if enough people are dissatisifed with the on site manager they will file complaints with either the office or the realty managament company and file anonymously even, empower yourself if you live here and do something about it, you have power.

i think that your crazy...if you can't obide by rules then get the f out...gold valley luxury apartments are for classy clean people...NO GHETTO POEPLE ALLOWED!!!the staff are nothing but helpful and i love the fact that we have on site security and badges to use for the pool...who wants other people using our pool,,,ITS FOR RESIDENTS ONLY!!!and if they don't like that then go to HART PARK and swim...i don't what side of the area u were living by on my side there is no trash...its very well kept and i always see the cleaning ladies every morning...so hopefully u moved out and we can all be happy...bye...

I agree with everything. The managment, Gary is the most disrespectful person I have ever met. He pretends to be professional until one of his many, many rules are questioned. If you like to be left alone then don't rent here.

HaHaHa!!! The first response to the review was over a year ago but I could not help from laughing out loud!! What an uneducated moron. I couldn't wait to get out of my lease at Golden Valley. Worst apartment complex I have ever rented from. We turned them in to the B.B.B. for basically stealing our deposit. NEVER RENT HERE!

When I rented my apartment, I looked at the paint, the carpet, and the kitchen in my unit to make sure that it wasn't junk that I would get charged for later. The paint is NOT flat, it is washable - I have a 2nd grader and a 3rd grader and there's no way I would rent an apartment without good paint. The carpet is a berber-style, which is something I was looking for because most apartments just put that crappy shag carpet, which in my case stains easily and traps all the dirt the kids bring in. If you tear the carpet it pulls like any other carpet, but I liked it because it was easy to vacuum and easy to steam clean. Plus, this apartment complex actually puts in a granite floor right at the front door, so the carpet doesn't get ruined as soon as the kids step inside. We moved to a house and we got our deposit back, and I kept my apartment very clean so that's probably why. I would rent here again by the way, it was safe for my kids and the apartment feels bigger than the other ones I saw, we were happy here.
