Only Good Thing' Landscaping! TOO OVERPRICED for sq. ft.! From: isapisa1234 Date posted: 3/22/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 2 responses First, this apartment complex has TWO different sizes for their one-bedroom apartments. The first size is SO TINY! And the second size (which was the one I moved into) costs $730 a month!!! And I've been to other apartment complexes where their STUDIOS sq. ft. IS BIGGER (AND CHEAPER) than the apartment that's $730! And I've been in some two bedroom apartments where of course the sq. ft is not only bigger (of course) but is probably about 30 to 50 bucks CHEAPER!! The only good thing about this place is the landscaping...it's gorgeous!! At first, I thought it being a gated community would be wonderful...but nope it was a mistake!! The thing is the apartment complex hands out a card to each apartment that unlocks the gates...each additonal card is $25 bucks...well, a majority of the complex residents obviously didn't purchase an additional card because I've driven up to see FOUR cars waiting to be let in!! I of course have my card but am too far away to be able to drive up to the sensor...and what about walking up to it''' HECK NO! Why should I have to if everyone here is too cheap to get their own''''' And the gated community doesn't keep the trash out...in the end when I left 6 months into my lease...the 2 bedroom apartments seemed to have been taken over by the "ghetto" people of Bakersfield! And I had been given warnings as to noise complaints...when the guy downstairs blasted his TV until like 11:30 at night...or the guy across from me would blast his stereo...and I mean it...he would LITERALLY BLAST IT! I'm sure my ex-boyfriend I left in that apartment is just enjoying that neighbors rap music! And the "Handymen" of this complex do NOTHING! I mean everytime they sent out a notice of when they'd be entering the apartment they'd never come those days!!!!! I mean if you say you're going to be there...than be there...WE as residents go out of our way to make sure that we accomodate these handymen...and I want to make sure I don't leave anything out to where they can grab it! And i don't want to be surprised either should I walk out of the shower! Good riddens!

More like you're too lazy and stupid to get out and let in the people who are waiting to get in. Don't complain about the gate when it's there to keep people out. Seems like it was doing it's job when 4 people were there and not getting in.

That last Response is uncalled for....Lazy and stupid...Yea let in the Robbers and trash ..no way I would have turned around and went in the other gate leaving them in my dust.. chances are they don't even live there!!
