Moved in Dec. 2007. Loud all night, fighting, drugs. This place was ok until sunset but then became the open door hangout for all the dirtbags of the South East. We slept on the floor some nights due to gunfire ON PREMISES. We watched through the peep hole in the front door while our adjacent neighbor's door was kicked in and they we STRONG ARM ROBBED. 24/7 thugs loitering, waiting for sunset when all decent working people were behind triple locked doors, waiting for the sky to fall. We had 2 female managers in their late 20's with another management agency who turned a blind eye to everything.

So we were dubious when the current manager moved in intent to make positive change. We have watched him stay true to the mission of improving the complex, watched him challenge groups of loiterers, trespassers, and assorted neighborhood degenerates. We have seen improvements to the point that children actually use the two on-site playgrounds, tenants use the grills and hangout outside. It "feels" safer because it IS safer. I am one tenant and we are renting one apartment. The manager has earned our respect through continued superior performance at keeping this a decent place to live.

A lot of us residents have heard about some of the things an angry resident or two have written on the internet. Its one thing to state factual matters, its another to use a public form entity to try and destroy a persons character because you are angry. I was not here before the manager came, but I've heard some stories, and even read some of the messages on here about some activities. I'm very happy that I did not live here prior the manager, but I've had no problems with him personally. He is out on the property all the time, treats all the residents very kindly, though, I did see him asking loud resident to leave the office, and even at that time, he was polite, not happy, but seems respectful about it. I don't know what all happens with the other residents, but I find it hard to believe that your "experiences" are not exaggerated. It is true, the management has been getting the pool fixed for a week now. It sucks in the 100 degree temperature, but, every time I ask when it is going to open, I get a seemingly truthful answer about it. I've had normal maintenance issues, fix my shower faucet, weather proof the front door, replace a window blinds, not much else. Since he only has one maintenance man now, he does everything he can to help. I see him checking the pool every day the last 2 weeks, I see him replacing screens, working on little maintenance. I have nothing bad to say. I think if you are going to comment on the internet, you need to be as accurate as possible. Also, the pool shower is inside the pool area and is just for rinsing, and yes, they are a little overstrict, they want everyone to rinse, they wont let you wear gym shorts, has to be a bathing suit, but at least they care. I have also been in the laundry room when he told 3 kids to go home and put shoes on so they don't get hurt. He is strict about no hanging out outside after 9pm, for loitering I think they call it. But at least it stays quiet. He is ALWAYS around, even after the office closes, checking the pool, checking the complex. For me it is a sense of security. I probably wont renew my lease but only because I might transfer my job out of town. I don't want to be too long, but I want to make sure that I give an accurate description.
