My husband and I lived at Shadow Ridge from 2002-2007 and we loved it. The only reason we left was because my husband lost his job, so we moved in with some family until we were back on our feet. We had a 2 bedroom/1 bath, upstairs. Our apartment was extremely spacious with a balcony patio. The kitchen was nice and open with double sinks, dishwasher and gas stove/oven. It was very quiet and we never had any problems w/ the neighbors or the management. In fact, management worked with us when our income situation changed and they allowed us to pay our rent towards the end of the month rather than at the beginning. The girls in the office were really sweet and willing to help whenever we needed it.

We never used the pool (as we don't use public pools), but it was always clean. The laundry room was almost always clean and never very crowded. The only con though was the last year we were there, they started locking the laundry room at 10pm because they had had reports of excessive noise. This was a good thing in my opinion. The tennis courts were very well lit as well as the parking lots and grounds. Every tenant gets at least 1 carport (or garage depending on their apartment size) and there was always ample free parking for additional cars or guests. Pets were allowed (we had a cat) but we never heard any barking or had any problems with roaming pets.

I've driven by recently and seen that they have continued updating and remodeling to keep the complex current, so that is a good thing. If we weren't moving out of town, we would definitely go back to Shadow Ridge!!!
