I've lived here for several months. Moved here from Southern California where rents for a place like this are astronomical. Here, it's reasonable for what you get: beautiful, well-taken-care-of landscaping, quiet environs, neighbors seem to be working professionals, "home"-style pride (it's *not* apartment seeming).

I wanted a place that's affordable (inexpensive) and would provide a secure place of peace to come home to, as I work in a very stressful environment. I checked around and I've checked around since -- this place is best for apartment homes, no question.

The name ("The Springs") describes the mood here well. Landscaping is aesthetically, intelligently designed (small hills, trees, winding paths) and maintained & cared for. Waterfall, "springs" and creek-like fish ponds along the walkways. Many pools, so they offer solitude swimming. Furnished appliances are new-ish, fine quality (better-than-average), washer/dryer in units, a/c works! No water bills. Check out the pictures and layouts on their website.

Plenty of uncrowded *and* carport-style (covered) parking space. Even though it's close to university, it doesn't have the student noise. Nicely close to shopping, centrally located to city proper, and excellent, quick access to freeway. And the staff have always been very professional. Maintenance requests are acted upon promptly.

If you keep to high standards and require them, you'll be fine here.

(For what it's worth, I never expect to get a cleaning deposit back, no matter what apartment I've ever rented. If it happens, I consider myself fortunate. Wake up, smell the coffee... It's the modern world.)
