Wow i just moved into villa la jolla (not by choice) and am truly worried, my fist night i heard three car alarms go off. As for the apartments condition there are many things that need fixing and we just moved in.(what exactly is the deposit for if the place is a mess when we move in') The outside looks like a Hoe-tel on union st. The dumpsters are over flowing and the parking inadequate.
Wish me luck!

Anonymous. My family been living in Villa La Jolla apts for two years.
Everytime my family pays rent of 625 a month for two bd. There's no service. Even when they pay rent..no service or there's no maintenance to do the job. The manager Rene wants to be a king...don't want to do anything. Just sit at his desk..on the phone talking spanish. The guy weighs about 350lbs. Anonymous..I wish you luck dude. But take advice..look for another place. Most of the apts down the other secions are boarded up..and what I heard some people are living in the boarded up apts. And some other tenants don't pay rent..Rene lets them off without paying. And yes they're spanish. Rene is prejudice against white people.
So again good luck. Oh if you want to get in touch with me..I'll give another email. Bigbrotherwatcher@msn.com. Just incase you want to chat.
Oh one other thing. The owner is Daniel Braum. But he let his dad Mike to do the disicions. I have his cellphone and his email..if you need to get in touch with him.
