Pros: assigned parking( 1 car per apt.) if you have more than 1 car...good luck finding parking. laundry rooms available, easy access to I-10 freeway. Cons: loud neighbors, rules are posted but never followed by anybody. Plumbing always has problems. The manager can be nice...sometimes. No receipt is ever given for rent. No supervision of the kids and they play by the cars in the parking lot, so there are plenty of scratches, dents and writings on your car. Most of the mothers don't pay attention to where their kids are so you'd be do it so you don't hit them with your car. Some gang members and low-lifes living in the building. Old carpet, crappy cheap paint. Everything falls apart( cupboard handles fall off, etc)There is recent renovation, but not worth the $400 rent increase.There is only new carpet, "wood floors", glass cupboards, and new paint. The aparments are still the same old buildings, just with a superficial makeover...don't do it.

I have lived at the puente villa apts. for three years, and i just transfered to a new apt. with new paint, carpet,crown molding,microwave,stove,diswasher and can go on. the manager she is so nice, she is very helpful, and the rules always enforced, not loud, very quiet, and no gang members, great place to live, my friend has lived here since 1990 and my neigbor has lived here for 20 years,all i can say great place to live.
