I have lived at the Barstonian for 3 1/2 years & am a current resident. I have NEVER had an issue with the Sharon, she is always polite. When I pull in the driveway if she is outside talking to the maintenance man she always waves & smiles. If I have a maintenance issue it is corrected the same day. The grounds are well kept with several tress on the property, the grass is mowed every week. I have NEVER had an issue with bugs. I have a dog, as someone who picks up after my dog each time we walk I can tell you there are not dog feces all over-I would have seen them, the area is well lit & safe, we sometimes walk in the middle of the night. My garage door has never failed, my patio screen door has never fallen off & the front gates close every evening. The quality of the products are not cheap. I also have a washer & dryer in my apartment, they work great. My apartment faces the pool & I know most of the residents, there are not non-residents using the pool & the pool is cleaned on a regular basis even in the off season.
I'm not sure what the goal of the previous reviewers are but they either have not lived here or have posted their reviews on the wrong apartment listing. Check it out for yourself & you will see that you have been misled by the previous posts.

We lived there in 2007. I do agree the grounds were well maintained, however I have to say the overall apartment complex does need to be updated and fixtures replaced. Our particular apartment was not what I would consider clean when we moved it. But I suppose spending almost 20 years in the Army makes us scrutinize cleanliness a bit more. It is a fine place for those who are waiting for post housing or are there temporarily.

I can't speak for everyone on here, but I did NOT post my review on the wrong apartment complex. I know where I live or where I have lived. I didn't listen to the folks who posted before me (i read the reviews before going there) and long and behold....they were right. Others will wish they had of listened too.
