I lived here about a year needed a cheap place and that is exactly what this apartment complex is but there are many better places to live for about the same price in Barstow. Here are a few examples of what I when through here. I had my door kicked in twice while I lived there the second time I had to replace the lock landlord and myself never reimbursed me the cost. The last windstorm took off the shingles of some of the roofs which have never been replaced. You will only get about half of your deposit back on move out. When I moved into the apartment, had all power turned off and couldn t see what I was renting. When I got the power turned on, it was very dirty inside. Even though I thourghly cleaned and vacuumed all of the carpets and expected a full deposit back after talking to the apartment manager. I was hit with an $85.00 bill for cleaning the carpet and another $50.00 bill for general cleaning of the apartment from my $300.00 deposit, even though I did a final inspection with the apartment manager and everything was considered excellent on move out. After I was there nine months the rent was lowered on new tenants from $550.00 to $500.00 per month coming in do you think I got a discount no unless I moved out and then back in.
