If you dont want to hear what your neighbors are up to then i would suggest renting the top floor. We have rented the bottom floor and can hear every step they take. noise from adjacent apts wasnt too bad, or they were very quiet. Building have large pine trees nezt to them , which makes it nice. dumpsters are always full, and trash is sometimes is stacked net to them.
