You people are crazy!! From: usmilgirl Date posted: 3/25/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I moved here in January of 2006 from Philadelphia PA. I work for the US government (no, I'm not military). It seems as though you CA wack-jobs are all about the color of your skin! You really need to get over yourselves! I have never had a problem with management here. The manager is nice to everyone and she will try to work with you the best she can. I have even seen her taking food to a resident who lost their job and was backed up on rent! She is certainly not racist (that resident she took food to was indeed a black woman!)You people have alot of nerve bashing someone like that. I have never seen her walking in her pajamas! However, every time I go to a store around here I see tons of very classy Barstonians wearing their slippers and pajama pants! Maintenence does have some issues, but the manager rides them relentlessly until they get done what needs to be done! As for the gates not ever working--well, maybe if hood rats would stop breaking them in order to visit their friends and family here; we would not have a problem. I have seen those gates be repaired 3 times and every time they get repaired, some low-life breaks them! The owners of this property will only shell out so much money for things like that until they get fed up with it! It's not the manager's fault you idiots! And there is certainly not any child molesters living here either! I work for the government and I have already done a search....no one here is a registered sex offender! The grounds are always kept nice and as for the pool having to be shut down last summer--that was due to a faulty pump that kept breaking...they got the pool up and running in August! As far as properties in Barstow are concerned--this place is NOT bad at all! Sounds to me like all you trash talkers are just miserable malcontents! Do you expect the manager to police the kids that live here too' I have seen her yelling at kids to stay away from cars and windows etc.. She can only do so much with people's out of control kids. If you have a problem with the older kids here do the logical thing and call the police on them you dummies! I guess it is true...the east coast people have all the brains and Californians are shallow and stupid!Stop bashing this poor manager...when you fall behind in your rent, you just might need her!
