The management if you can call it that picks on the tenants all the time e.g. rules for some but not all. I have been here about two years and all i have experienced with them is problems one after another. First off I lived here for about 6 months then moved out because of water heater problems the water would be off for days at a time with little or no notice. Then i came back to santa fe and ended up getting married and the manager has been anything but nice to my wife. A light cover fell off the ceiling in the hallway and wy wife (who is 6 months pregnant) slipped on it and fell down the stairs. It took over 4 hours for management to answer a phone and they said they got my wifes message. Instead of asking if she was ok they asked for the light cover back'' Before that my WIFE and I were kissing on the balcony (nothing to serious) and I got a call from management about public displays of affection are not allowed. They threatened to kick me out over having my kids trophies in a window sill, I ended up contacting an attorney and writing a letter about how everyone else has things in their windows and took about 104 pictures of other violations of their "rules" and told them that they were basically harrassing me. the next day a letter went out to everyone to take down these items. If I was you I would stay as far away from this place as you can. My work van was broken into and had my tools and laptop stolen they dont care how may cars you have park on the street and on mondays if you don't leave by 7:00 am you get a 50.00 parking ticket for street sweeping, I am so fed up with this place thank god I gave my 30 day already.... Im out!!!!

I live here for almost 4 years and I like it. The manager is very nice and helpful. With all due respect, we all SIGN the rules when we move in, so I wonder why you had to be asked to follow them? And why did you come back to rent from Santa Fe Management, when you had such a "BAD" experience? Surely something was good since you came back...

Which manager was helpful? There have been so many managers that come and go to manage the buildings it's not even funny. I bet the person who responded is either Jessie, her right butt cheek Elsie or the money hungry owners. Santa Fe Management buildings are not safe, one of my neighboors got robbed while they were sleeping in their apt and the management didn't even do so much as to call them and offer their condolences, much less step up some sort of security. All they care about is having an apt rented.

I am going to respond to both responses. I only had problems with the water heater and the water being off constantly. I was assured that it would not be a problem again, so I moved back in. None of the managers are nice or helpful. In fact Ronella would flirt with me, hold my arms and rub my upper arms when talking, while in front of my wife. I never showed any interest as she is FUGLY! There was nothing in the rules or lease that mentioned me not being able to show any public displays of affection to my wife. I am convinced that call was out of pure jealously or something. Once I confronted her about how uncomfortable I was with her touching me and flirting wih me, that's when the problems started. The lease specifically says nothing can be on the windows, a trophy in the wondow sill is not on the window itself. She said that meant that nothing can be seen when looking in the window from the outside. I felt singled out at that point as there were over 104 instaces of that going on and I was the only one it was mentioned to. So I took pictures and submitted them to my attorney. So I did follow just about all of the rules. They were very rude when my pregnant wife was hurt due to their lack of proper installation with the light fixture. The place is always dirty, there are constant break ins and You are right that place is very very unsafe.
