I thought I was moving into a nice apartment complex. It appears to be a very nice place to live. Boy, was I fooled! People lack common courtesy here, people driving way too fast through the parking lot, horns blowing for various reasons (especially people who don't have a gate opener), and music blasting at all hours of the night setting off car alarms (sometimes just sitting at the gate because they don't have an opener). The security is a big time joke! They don't do anything except have a car towed every now and then. And I still have problems with people parking in my space. My apartment is pretty big, but having to deal with all the crap makes it so not worth it. Not too long ago a man was shot in the head and his girlfriend's throat was slit inside the complex, one of the security guards was shot soon after I moved in! Recently, my car was broken into for the gate opener while parked inside the complex and my other car had parts stolen from it while parked inside as well. Twice my car was hit by a hit and run while parked directly outside the complex. It seems like a bit much, but it's all true. They have gone up on my rent every year since I moved in. Last year they went up $175. I was pissed. I got a notice today stating another increase. I think they're trying to get everyone out whose living in an old apartment so they can remodel and get even more money. The remodels are nice, but so not worth it. I like the neighborhood but these apartments are trash! There are 2 pools in the complex, but last year the would only have 1 open at a time due to people getting in with their street clothes on and dirting up the pool. The women from the office would come out and keep an eye out on what's going on at the pool, but once the office closed the women left. Sooo...as the saying goes when the cat is away the mice will play. The teenagers took over (including those who don't live here),kids under 14 being left unattended, ghetto kids playing with the life perserver, and kids getting in with street clothes. My kids don't like to go to the pool 'cause it's just too much and I don't blame them. If we go...we go early in the morning when the ghetto people are still sleep! You would think with all the money being generated they would hire enough people to take care of every aspect of this complex. When I first came to check out the apartments a current resident at the time told me not to move in. I wish I would have listened!!! As soon as I find something else I'm so out of here!!!! The management company offered $300 if you refer someone. What a joke! Ha! Ha! Ha! I wouldn't refer these apartments to my worse enemy. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
