I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy. The parking spaces are too small, and your car doors end up with huge dings in them. People have absolutely no respect whatsoever for anyones space. There are people constantly honking their horns and waiting outside the lot to get in, because they've got no control to open the gate (only residents get the controls... but everyone lets their guests park inside). It is noisy at ALL hours of the day and night. Kids playing around riding on their bikes (even though there are many signs that say 'NO BIKE RIDING') screaming at the top of their lungs. If you ask them to keep it down, they will pretty much cuss you out (no respect at ALL). At night, the sound of helicopters and the spotlight chasing guys running through the complex isn't fun either. I've heard gun shots before, but to be honest it was only on a few separate occasions. I'm a grown man and I'm still scared of walking around here at night.. I can only imagine a female trying to do it. The smell of marijuana is everywhere at night, and the "security" guard is a complete joke. The guards are pretty much just walking around talking on their cell phones, trying to pass the time. You call them for something and they'll walk by... and do absolutely nothing. The actual grounds are pretty nice though. That's what got us sucked into this place. They keep the grass well manicured, and have nice flowers and what not.. but that is probably the only nice thing I can say about this place. At night the gigantic cockroaches come out. So many in fact, that if you walked through here at night.. you will hear them crunching under your shoes. There are THAT many cockroaches. This place is just infested with them. The worst is when they get into your house (they like to hang around under the doors) and next thing you know you see them in the middle of the night on your stove and counter... GROSS. The office staff is pretty much a joke too. It seems as if they just hire family members and friends to run the place. They know absolutely nothing about running an apartment complex, and are intimidated by the residents of this place. Basically, no one EVER gets kicked out of this place . No matter what they do (they don't want to lose $$$). So you can do whatever you want. You can break every single "rule" they have and you still wont get kicked out. For someone like me that tries to treat everyone with respect.. it is SO frustrating. Although this place isn't in a bad area, as soon as you step foot inside this place.. you would think you are in Watts. It's amazing how "Ghetto" this place is, then you walk out onto the street and the area is VERY nice. Please, if you're reading this and planning on moving here.. Do not. PLEASE, do not. No matter what they tell you, or no matter how nice it seems during the day.
