Ok I lived in Sierra Gardens for.. about five years. I sort of grew up there. In the beginning, with the first manager, a man, forgot his name, it was a fun little clean pretty community where your kids would be able to play with other kids without getting too rowdy. The manager would plan things like BRIM which would let all the kids play in a safe nice environment, or we did barbecues by the pool, etc.

Whatever, so it was fun, safe, people got rowdy once in a while, it was cool.

Then three other managers came and it got kinda fascist, especially with that ----- Martha. Ugh. Someone should've stabbed her.

The point is it did grow more ghetto over the years, not do to the apartments or management, but the people who began to move in after a very ghetto project, The Sherwoods.. It was in Bellflower, near Bellflower high and known for on site shootings, Blood-Crip action, etc. So they started moving in with their kids after things began to hit the fan, and the decline ensued. All of the old crew began moving out and I , for some reason began getting in trouble for things that stupid kids did, but that's whatever. If the dirty people moved out, then the SGs would be safer and better place to raise your kids. As it stands, I wouldn't let my kids play with the things that moved in now. There is a lot of drugs and such now, the manager included.
