As with the previous tenants who posted about their experiences living Belmont Square Apartments, the year I spent living here was miserable.

Mrs. Campbell, the resident Property Manager is indeed extremely unpleasant to deal with on any level and is completely unprofessional. She is frequently unavailable and the office is closed most days, unless you are a prospective renter. If there is an emergency, you are on your own...

She seems to feel totally comfortable discriminating against white tenants (even those who don't smoke, have pets or children) so beware. She gave a unit to her daughter and grandchildren and another to a friend in the building for a deeply discounted rate.

The units show fairly well, but have significant electrical wiring, phone line, cable t.v. and plumbing problems and lack insulation for both noise and heat. There are also minimal window coverings provided, which let in a lot of light to the apartments from both the street and courtyard walkways.

My car has been broken into twice in less than a year while it was locked and parked in the garage. This garage is not secure and lacks adequate lighting. There are no security cameras or patrol for this building.

The storage units you are provided are also in the garage, but you are not given one that matches your parking spot. And, all of the bigger storage spaces are given to her family already, even if she says otherwise. We were promised one at move-in and never got it.
