New Manager, Maybe better--the jury is still out

I would say I?m somewhere in between the prior two posts. I can?t say the new manager has opened up communications with the tenants since I still have seen no letter of introduction. Nothing asking tenants for their input, concerns, etc. Like post #6, I have stopped by the office several times during what are supposed to be business hours (4:00 pm Tu-Th, 11:00 am Sat) and no one is there. Maybe it has just been a coincidence that he hasn?t been there when I stop by in an attempt to meet him. One of my neighbors is currently renting on a month-to-month lease only because the new manager hasn?t "found the time" to try to work out a new lease. Of course, a new lease may mean lower rent as opposed to paying month-to-month at the old, higher rate.
On the positive side, I don?t find the place to be as full as "low lifes" as post #6. Several tenants have lived here at lease 10 years and for the most part, everyone seems to follow the rules. With a building as large as this one, there will always be rude, insensitive morons who make noise at all hours, let their kids scream and run through the halls and parking garage and make a mess in the laundry rooms. Unfortunately, it comes with apartment living....
