I saw that Shawnee has been posting review. Thank you for trying to address the issues but we both know that the police came 3 times for noise complaint from appartment #401 where you assistant manager used to live. You chose to move him and that wasa great decision to put himon the first floor facing the street. However I know that he still annoys resident on that side of the building.
Also congratulations for replacing Mark the property manager. Calling him 'great staff' is a lie. You kkow that he is not good with people at all. Last time I needed something i asked him: "Do ou have time / Is now a good time'" He replied "Euh why' What's up'" and trust me he was annoyed.

Anyway Lika Vili is very nice and kudos to her.

Yes the rent have been going up a lot for everyone.

Yes the renovations are still an inconvenient. Mark was doing a poor job at giving notice and coordinating work with contractors. For example the pool was closed several times with NO notice given' How unprofessional is that.On that particular day in May when it happened I had 4 kids coming for a pool party and it had to be canceled.

Finally if you want get usefull do something about the 6 kids skateboarding every eveing in the parking lot. Why don't you have a maanger leaving in th ebuilding' He/she could address that.

Agree with most of it except for "Anyway Lika Vili is very nice and kudos to her." I guess the experiences differ. According to CA civil code 1954 states that the notice of entrance should be given with approximate time of the entry, not specifying the entire day, forcing people to wait all day in order to have the doors painted. So when a tenant does it as a gesture of good will (instead of using their rights to refuse), and then the workers come at an inopportune moment in late afternoon (after having been expected the whole day) and asked to PLEASE COME BACK IN 20 MINUTES and then choose not to, the proper follow-up does not invite writing an impolite letter misrepresenting this incident and blaming the tenants for some slip in the schedule. I hadn't realized that the rent is being paid for the privilege of ensuring that Essex's work proceeds on schedule.
