Everything was fine until Move-Out

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004
For the views and money this was an OK place. But when I moved out they sprung a new agreement claiming that I had to paint the inside of the apartment on move out. I was charged for this, and all manner of cleaning and replacements that normally come out of wear and tear. Nothing about this was mentioned on move-in. I'm taking them to small claims court, but everyone needs to be aware that they treat the deposit as an additional rent payment.
