I never came across people who cheat you just like these. I paid them a security deposit 1200/-
On top of that they charged me another 700. When I move out, they charged hell a lot money for simple things small cracks, on the bath tub, which were there already. 17.50 for each burned out light etc.
But the most agonizing thing is they disregarded my notice to vacate. A day before dropping that I called the manager and asked how to give the notice to vacate and would you give me and acknowledgment'. She said "drop the notice on the rental drop box , she will forward it to their office, and will not give any acknowledgment".
So I dropped the notice along with the rent on April 3rd. They happily encashed the rent cheque and somehow "throw the notice somewhere". I saw the cheque being encahsed and believed that they got the notice. But after 3 weeks( couple of days just before we moved) when my wife met the manager and reminded about it. The manager said she missed the notice from the file can you give one more. So my wife just gave one more.
They just charged me the whole rent.
I dropped rent and notice in an envelope, so there is no chance they could miss the notice alone.
So I am telling all, please stay away from this cheaters.
All the resident who wish to give notice to vacate , send them a "certified mail with acknowledgemnt required".Never ever listen to the manger's request of just drop it in the rental drop box.
I do not want they to repeat this to everyone
