I have lived here under both the old and current management. Used to be less resident noise here until new managers took over. Appliances are cheap &/or old. Buildings recently painted outside, but inside hasn?t been painted in years. Pipes are all connected so when the sink or toilet clogs, it impacts other apts. Needs unreachable exterior windows washed. Landscaping could use a lot more tending. Office staff are barely friendly, maintenance staff (with one exception) barely even look at you.

All of this can be tolerated for the low rent, but the one issue below makes Carlmont Woods barely tolerable.

Ants. This complex suffers from ant infestation. The building next door was tented last year. Ants come up in the winter when they are flooded out during heavy rains and in the heat of summer in search of water. During an extended heat wave ants were literally coming up through the carpet.

I do not recommend living here unless you can afford nothing else.
