I have 3 months left on my lease here and I can't wait to get out of this crappy place. I am literally going insane with the level of cacophonous noise. The hallway fire doors slam so hard the walls and floor boards shake. The floors are so shoddy you can hear a small cat walking around upstairs. Rarely am I able sleep through the night without waking to a wall rattling hall door slam. Further, the smell in the hallway is a cross between rotten fish, cheap perfume and mold.

The ceiling is cheap popcorn asbestos like material.

The fixtures are cheap and from the 70s.

The walls are thin and the carpet is old.

The maintenance is best explained as deferred.

Moving here has got to be one of the worst decisions I've ever made.

just because you have issues with your neighbor doesn't mean you should take it out on the whole building. just a thought.
