I moved into the French Village about a year ago. My car and my frineds cars got broken into. The maintaince staff stole from our neighbors apartment. The other residence were SCARY!!! It was horrible! There were tons of drug dealers and the people that lived below us got in trouble for cooking meth.. it was bad! But then the building got sold. The NEW managers and the New maintance are wonderful! Our rent was raise.. but the whole building is being renovated and the new apartments are considered Luxury Apartments! They even have hardwood floors. We're moving from our origional apartment at the French Village into one of the newly renovated apartments at the French Village. I love the building now! And they're about to re-do the pool and the driveway. The manager says that the whole renovation should be done in 3 months! I can't wait. And all of the bad people that were living in our building have moved out because the rent got raised.. and because we have onsite security now! Before now I would have said that no one should ever move here.. but now I must say that I highly recomend it!! They also allow pets now!! Which is great for me.. I spent the whole time I was living there before the building was sold worried that they would find out that I was hiding a 5 pound poodle in my apartment.
