The pro's are it's location mostly. It is a couple blocks from the Cal-train station and the Safeway shopping center. There is the local Belmont Farmer's market in the train parking lot every Sunday, but that really has nothing to do with the apartments. The con's..I don't remember seeing infested with cockroaches on the brochure. I have to say after nearly a year since moving in, they have recently done two sprays to get rid of them and guess what...yeah.. they are still here. Plus they made us take everything out of the cabinets, closets, drawers, cover all the furniture, and find somewhere for the animals and ourselves to go all day. I might as well have moved out. At first glance it looks like they have done a lot to revive the apartments, but it is all paint. I moved into an apartment that supposedly had brand new everything, but several of the fixtures were rusted and the toilet was cracked. I've watched cracks grow bigger since I moved in. I have had one continuous problem that they never fully fix just jimmy rig so it will work for another five minutes. Often the stairwell lights will burn out and not get replaced for a month while you fumble around in the dark. The trash cans, if you can find any are always over flowing, and parking is a total nightmare. You get one assigned spot and other then that you have to go park on the street, sometimes several blocks away. There is only one washer and dryer unit per floor, so it is always taken. The office staff is pretty polite and will fill out work request forms for you, but any other problems and you are directed to look at you lease.
